Fun day with the family

We came for a day trip with our family. 7 adults and 2 children. We got a golf cart and went fishing at the rocky pier. Not a good place to fish for older folks. My in laws didn't... read more

The island is a bit pricey to get onto but it is cute and there are restaurants and ice cream places. The food is probably a little bit more expensive than usual but it isn't too bad. There are golf cart rentals which is a nice way to see the whole island. The buckeye bar has really good food!

Even though you can't access Kelly's Island by ferry from Catawba anymore, it is well worth visiting. Hop a boat from Put In Bay, Marblehead, or Sandusky and enjoy the trip. Be sure to pick up a map and guidebooks at the chamber of commerce (Kellys Island ferry dock) or another local business and plan your visit as Kelly's is... More

Decided to visit here for a week. Normally travel down south but thought we would try north away from the virus carrying mosquitos and a bit closer to home. The island is nice but we found there to be not much to do and given the lack of activity, consider the property rental to be overpriced. Town is small though... More

We didn't realize "Christmas in July" was such a big deal here. Rode the ferry over, no golf carts to rent, hot as blazes outside, "taxi" service was ridiculously expensive-Glaciar Grooves was a joke.

Spent a week on Kelly's Island. Had food at six establishments, and thought they were all fair at best. Nice getaway for the environment(hiking trails, places to stop and admire the natural beauty, etc.) Best plan is to go for a couple of days and that will give you plenty of time to see everything. Restaurants all overpriced for quality and... More

First time here . This place was serene and beautiful . Went over on the ferry and drove a golf course . Spend the day relaxing or eating and drinking . They have fudge and bakery shops, beach apparel , mineral rocks etc . It's fun for all including taking the ferry over .

I had the best girls weekend on Kelley's Island. It is such a cute and charming little spot. We loved driving the golf carts around to visit the different restaurants and attractions. The island is very small which gives it a very comfortable and relaxing feel and everything is so beautiful.

We absolutely love Kelleys Island! We come every year for a young adults retreat to Camp Patmos. Around labor day they have a cute little parade in town. The glacial grooves are cute. The downtown is adorable and family-friendly with putt putt, golf cart rentals, cute little shops and restaurants, and more. This place is a gem!!

the downtown area is bustling with activity but you can get away from it all and visit the state park at the other end of division street. it is well worth the trip
