This park and the surrounding area are gorgeous. My family spent two days hiking the trails here. Even on a Monday the park was a busy place. We had a difficult time finding a parking place once or twice. Some of the restrooms were poorly maintained. All of the trails were great, but the trail to Old Man's Cave was... More

We had a wonderful adventure in the Hocking Hills. The caves were awesome as was all the natural beauty. We enjoyed ash cave the most. The hike back to the cave was very easy for myself and our little ones. The water fall and creek were much fun for the kids. I enjoyed the trees and scenery. We also found... More

I grew up in Ohio, but had never been down to the Hocking Hills area, so when we flew into Columbus I suggested that we drive an hour south and check it out. We only had a few hours before the sun would go down, so we just went straight to Old Man's Cave (which is one of the more... More

Who would have thought something this beautiful could exist in Ohio? I sure didn't. Next time will rent a cabin with hot tub on deck.

When we first arrived there, we could not find a parking spot. A lot of tourism there, but its only in the beginning of old mans cave, if you keep hiking it will get more private. The sites were absolutely beautiful and the trails were marked excellent. Its not an easy hike if you start from the old mans cave,... More

We had 4 adults and 2 kids take the tours of Old Man Cave, Ash Cave and the falls regions. Not only did we enjoy the hikes we had a blast. My wife is somewhat handicap, needing a cane to get around, and she did the trails with us. Granted it too some time but everyone was nice and were... More

There are several great trails to some very scenic vistas. The trails are better than the average, these trails include wood boardwalks, concrete pylons for steps, wood fences, suspension bridges, steel cross overs making the trek much better. Anyone can walk on dirt paths but this is a premium experience. With that said, the bathrooms are a dissappointment and need... More

It is great place to visit. Massive rocks, different shapes of it looks great. We went to Old man's cave and decided to hike for Cedar Falls. We started to the hike but ended up nowhere. Directions are terribly marked and if you decide for hike one should know the path. Except direction markings place is very good. Great natural... More

Went in the beginning of August. Way too dry time of the year. No running waterfalls. Started at Ash Cave and tried to hike to Cedar Falls. All paths are horribly marked. We followed a well traveled path and ended up nowhere near our destination back on the main road we drove in on. Olds Cave is a decent hiking... More
