Fairly easy hike with a slight grade along the river to the falls. We'll marked and used by many as the trail is wide with use. Couple of picnic tables at start of trail. Some benches to rest and enjoy to trail.

Hike to the falls is short and easy; just right for little ones and those unaccustomed to hiking. And is is a Big Bang for your buck as your reward is a lovely waterfall. Gravel walkway is well maintained and there are wooden steps to go up so you can view things from higher perspective. Plenty of parking with restrooms at entrance. Path well travelled so you will have plenty of company.

A pleasant walk through the trees up a well made path brings you to a lovely waterfall. This place makes a very good interlude in peace and quiet , especially during a very hot day.

The falls are a series of cascades in a narrow flume. The signs said "easy 15 minute walk". Not so. The trail was steep, the path was uneven and rutted. Then at the top, steep stairs to see the water fall and other set of steep stairs to go back down. It took us 45 minutes, with rest stops. The falls were interesting, but we would not have taken the trail had we known it true specifics.

The trail to the Falls is nothing special. It follows along the river for a little bit and through the woods for a bit. It is well-maintained and easy to access from the parking lot. Look at the review for the waterfall itself for more detail.

I wanted to do some hiking but have a special needs child who can walk but not to patient at times. This was a quick .3 mile hike with benches along the way. Slight incline but not too bad. Beautiful falls await.

We were looking for an easy and picturesque hike and this fit the bill. In high season it might be difficult to find parking, but we were able to do so. They have bathrooms on sight and the trail to the Falls is mostly flat- a little uphill but nothing too strenuous. It was a gorgeous day with beautiful fall foliage and the falls themselves are beautiful.
If you go there, hiking shoes and a walking stick is helpful but not necessary. Also there's a fork in the trial - go to the right so that when you leave the falls, you end up walking down a wide staircase that leads to the trail back to the parking lot.

Beatiful falls that can be easily reached with a short stroll from the car park. The area can get a bit crowded but the falls deserve a visit. They can be seen in 30 minutes or so.

There wasn't an option to just write family, there were no teenagers in our party.

These falls were worth the short hike up a hill it's .3 to get there. The power of the falls and air you feel is breathtaking. There are some stops you can walk right up to the bottom part of the fall but be careful as I was there a guy broke his leg and there is no service to call 911 they had to carry him down and drive him down the highway to get help. Anyone is capable of doing this hike. There are picnic tables to eat at too and grills. I would deff. Do this again next year.

We visited Sabbaday Falls during peak season, but arrived at this stop late in the day. There were many tourists, so the hike is definitely not a secluded adventure. While the hike is short, I still advise wearing good shoes and pants. Many tourists were wearing heels, sandals, and dresses... and were obviously struggling on the hilly trails. The view at Sabbaday Falls is not to be missed - absolutely gorgeous, with views from atop the waterfall and in the pool below.
