This was my husband and my's first visit. However the party of 13 have been making this trip 8 years now. Our cabin was beautiful. When I walked in the cabin, I could smell "clean". Great first impression! Our float trip was flawless. They help you load all of your coolers ( we had 5 or 6). One of our... More

(This review has nothing to do with the Niobrara River Ranch - just tubing the river itself.) We tubed down the Niobrara River at Valentine, NE, for the first time ever. It was amazing. We used Brewer's Canoers and Tubers in Valentine to rent the tubes.(Very friendly people - I would recommend them as your outfitter) We chose the 6-hour... More

The owner, LEE is a joke. My friend and I were tenting down by the river while my family was renting his biggest cabin....one day we get back from tubing/kayaking and noticed my friends brand new bike is gone. Long story short, Lee...the owner, took it thinking we were squatters not paying and he took the bike for collateral. We... More

My wife and I did the tube float down the Niobrara on 9-14-13. It is an excellent time as the rest of the entire state is watching or listening to football and we were the only people on the lower portion of the river. Great scenery and a very enjoyable time.

I would like to start this review off by saying so many of these other reviews, are wrong. I stayed in a cabin at the Niobrara River Ranch and never once encountered a “wolverine”. The first thing I’d like to address is the knocks on the cleanliness of the cabins. It’s a CABIN for cryin out loud, I don’t know... More

My friends and I decided last minute to rent a cabin for my birthday over labor day weekend. Lee (the owner) was very nice and accommodating. They got us a cabin ready during this VERY busy time. The cabin was cute and cozy. it was stocked with everything we needed to cook and sleep. It was clean and comfortable. When... More

I stayed here the beginning of August for 3 days with some co-workers. I was a little worried due to some of the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. The cabins are spacious - we stayed in South cabin and there was more than enough room for 6 of us - The cabins were clean, they weren't the Hilton but you... More

We had a party of 43 and split the Pine and Walnut cabins. These two cabins were beautiful and the views were incredible. They were also very clean and everyone loved the beds. Lee, the owner, was very accommodating to us as the outfitter for kayaking one day and tubing the next day. He made everything so convenient for us,... More

Just got home from a great weekend spent at the Niobrara River Ranch. After reading some of the negative reviews we were worried about what we would find. What we found was great and clean cabins, fantastic views, fun river rafting and an owner (Lee) that was very accommodating. We had over 40 people at three cabins and it was... More

The Niobrara is a beautiful river, however be advised it is a party river - at least on the Saturday in July when we visited. If you want your float sans floating vomit and Tone Loc blaring from portable boom boxes go another time or place. Little Outlaw was an efficient enough organization, however liberals (which I am) with thin... More
