Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Glacier National Park. The views were breathtaking. We had the privilege to see a bear, goats and rams. We enjoyed the hikes that we did and wished we could have done more. Walking in the snow in July! Seeing the beautiful flowers! It was really great. The only problem is the congestion. There are so... More

Glacier national park is beautiful and we'll worth visiting. The scenery is spectacular with miles of forests, clear lakes and snow capped mountains. We were not able to do the hiking, canoeing etc. Due to physical limitations, but saw many who were there for the outdoor activities. The visitor center and shops at Apgar village were informative and fun to... More

I'm going to start with my suggestions before anything. First, stay in the park if you can, if you can't and are near the west entrance try Whitefish then Kalispell in that order. Start your day in the park early! This is a must as the Going to the Sun Highway gets jammed quickly. Beware of bicycles also. They are... More

I have visited over 20 national parks, but had never ventured into northern Montana until this summer; so very glad that I did. Each of the parks offers it's own stunning unique experience and Glacier NP is no slacker in that regard. There is nothing that compares to driving and exploring the beauty along Going to the Sun Road. We... More

The drive on The Road to the Sun was beautiful. Amazing vistas all along the way. Most of the snow was gone along the lower levels-just left at the very top. Did see a herd of mountain goats on one of the snow patches. With the snow melt -lots of waterfalls along the road. Also saw wild mustangs on the... More

Truely a stunning environment, but the park cannot accommodate the amount of vehicles it receives. Unfortunately, we could not find anywhere to park at the trails we wanted to hike...we even arrived by 8 AM. Oh well, we will return because there is so much to see.

Going to the Sun Highway is breathtaking and should not be driven by the faint of heart. The mountain views along this awesome drive will stick in my memory forever. My wife, dog, and I made the drive on a nice and cool mostly sunny day. Drive slow and stop often at the pull outs to take pictures. There are... More

Our first time visiting Glacier was fantastic. Mountains, lakes, waterfalls, wildlife, wild flowers, and more lakes and waterfalls? Don't miss the much less visited Two Medicine area with beautiful Running Eagle falls. In the spring you can see a double falls. We stayed at Glacier General Store and Cabins in Coram, MT, and loved it.

Glacier is a beautiful National Park! WOW! We went on a boat tour and learned the average amount of time people spend inside the park is hours!? Why? You can spend days exploring this park! Do not just drive on Going to the Sun Road and leave. You are missing so much more! Trails, hiking, camping, backpacking, nature, and wildlife.... More

Drove through from the Going to the Sun entrance and it was wonderful. Even after the fires this place is great to go to. Got to take some pretty wonderful pictures.
