Hiked the 2.9 hiking club trail on 4/21. The trail is moderate due to the hills and length. There was an area of standing water on the trail near the parking lot. I would start hiking the trial going toward the lake.

Lake Carlos is very clean and beautiful. The beach area is really nice and the campground on the lake has a nice sandy bank to play and relax. The upper campground is half wooded and are not too tightly spaced. The facilities are kept up...More

This state park is on the lake. The lower campground is right on the lake, the upper campground a short walk away. This is a typical Minnesota state park campground with camping spaces allocated off paved access roads. Flush toilets. The park is on relatively...More
