I have come to Canada with my wife to spend time with my son and his family. I have few class mates of IIT, Bombay, India who reside in Canada. We decided to have a get together with families. We visited Lake Huron while staying in Sarnia Ontario. The lake has scenic shoreline, beaches, swimming areas and fishing. The large ships are impressive.

It gave us the opportunity to walk the edge, experience the quiet, and photograph the grasses at water's edge. Photographers: take note of the idyllic... More

A piece of Heaven on Earth. Clean big warm sandy beach. Very shallow water on a calm day. We went to Caseville so we don't know about the rest of the Lake but this place was fantastic. Also a fishing harbor if you like

LAKE HURON CAMPING 9/4-9/9/12 (with Jim & Pauline) We started out from home on Tuesday, 9/4 at 9:22 AM. We got diesel gas at Roanoke, arriving at 10 AM and leaving at 10:30 AM. We took I-69 and stopped at the Michigan Welcome Center at 11:55 Am, collecting all kinds of literature, mostly for the Lake Huron upper northeast shoreline... More

We were invited up to a friend's family cottage on the shores of Lake Huron this past June 2009. While the weather didn't cooperate as we would have liked, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery, sounds and breezes that come from the Lake. It was a little of the beaten path from Caseville, MI which has some more interesting night life... More
