I've been enjoying this park for years. During spring and summer the park has a boat rental center, pontoon boat tours for two dollars per person on weekends (reservations), kids fishing clinics and more. There is a number of trails but I would imagine the most popular one circles the lake. The lake is man made and there are lots... More

Visited the park for seeing the Winter lights and loved the experience. Kids enjoyed the drive through the park. Though we cannot get out of the car for the entire drive, kids can either use sun roof or stand in the front to enjoy the surrounding lights. Speed limit within the park is 20 and since everyone stops to take... More

We spend the early part of Christmas Eve doing the drive through the light display and it was great. Since it's a drive-through with no walking, it was perfect for my friends 90+ mother. Surprisingly it was not overly congested so there wasn't a wait on Christmas Eve.

The holiday light display at Seneca Creek Park is fabulous!!!! You stay in car and drive through. A great way for a family to share the holiday experience. price is per carload. The only thing that would make it better is if there was hot chocolate and cookies with holiday music at the end in a tent or something but... More

A most exellant place to have a family gAthering. We all occupied a nice looking picnic shelter which we decoRated ourselves. The park and surrounding grounds were beautiful, well maintained and taken care of.

We visited the place on February and since it was my first time ever at the park, it was love at first sight! The Lake was almost completely frozen and all the wood around... It's such a nice place to walk and relax your mind. Amazing for the kids too.

Took kids for a short hike on one of the trails in the park. There are great picnic areas everywhere. Great little recycled tire playground with a zip line near a lake. Wish we had more time to explore it all. Not much of a visitor center to explore but there wasn't much traffic when we visited either. Seems like... More

Many miles of relatively civilized trails around a lake, many picnic areas, playground for 10 and under, boat rentals for the family. All trash must be taken with you.

I take my kids here every weekend to play on the tire park. They LOVE the tire park! Nice place to take natural walks, has boat rentals and a small dock to go out on the water. Entrance fee is $3 per person, smaller children are free. They also have snake and turtle talks near the park which my kids... More

In December 2013, we visited the Christmas lights display at Great Seneca State Park - it was just awesome! You drive through the display (no walking involved). And there is a per-car fee. The displays are just wonderful - There are so many lights in so many different little vignettes. Several of the displays are fun and creative. And the... More
