I personally have not stayed at the hotel or camp grounds but, have a lake house 2 miles from the park and come here quite often. The campgrounds are very nice. The miniature golf course is definitely a challenge but, fun. The Caves are neat but, very cold and full of bugs. The restaurant at the hotel is very good... More

Amazing place. I HIGHLY suggest taking the walking trail to eagles Peak. From there you can see Trooper Island and the beautiful Dale Hollow Lake. There is also another walking trail close to the lodge with a unique rock formation. Lastly there is a cave you may have to ask the workers or locals how to get to it but... More

We have been coming to Dale Hollow since we were teenagers. We're in our 60's now. We live the lake. We used to rent houseboats from Cedar Hill. With owner/management changes there in recent years, the boats have deteriorated. We tried a couple other marinas & ended up at Sulphur Creek last year. The houseboat was great. Seemed clean. Minimal... More

Eat early dinner at the restuarant at Dale Hollow Park. they have a great buffet and moderately priced. they had a very good variety of meats along with several choices of vegetables. Nice desserts and a nice salad bar. We had no complaints here and will be going back later for more good food. I believe they also have a... More

This is the best state park we have ever camped in. The utilities are a little inconvenient in the full hookup sites due to the distance and location of the water and sewer connections. Other than that the sites are well layed out and cared for. The restrooms and showers are a little dated but kept clean and worked well.... More

The setting is gorgeous overlooking the beautiful Dale Hollow Lake. Truly a great spot. There are so many options from just relaxing and taking in the view to horseback riding, trails, swimming, boating, and more. Wildlife abounds. We saw lots of deer and wild turkey, songbirds and birds of prey. The golf course is long, challenging, and beautiful. Very good... More

I camped here as part of a three week motorcycle trip for a night. The campground is fantastic! It is very clean and maintained very well. The lake is beautiful, and if you are a boater and camper, you'll love this park. My spot was close to the restrooms/showers so the WiFi worked great.

This was our first weekend in our new RV and our first trip to this state park. The grounds are perfect, the lodge was amazing, only surpassed by the views and water. The RV slips are 5 or 6 lines radiating out from a large circle, each circle is screened by trees so your only close to the 5 or... More

Dale Hollow lake is gorgeous. The state park is nice, but doesn't seem to offer much for families like mine- we were just visiting for the day without a boat. We don't golf, the cave was closed, and I didn't see many hiking trails. We also didn't see a suitable place for bank fishing, and swimming is prohibited. So, there... More

We stayed in a Log Cabin at this Resort and our friends parked up in their RV. They had a Boat moored at the Marina and we went out every day on the Lake. It was fantastic!! The Lake was clean, the Marinas were well stocked with provisions and fuel with very helpful attendants. The only criticism I have was... More
