My wife and I signed up for a late season trip with guided outfitter Northwest Rafting. The pricing was fair and the office staff was very helpful before and right up to the put-in morning. The guides with Northwest Rafting were truly a great bunch of human beings. Each was skilled at rafting and a pleasure to share the river experience with. What a joy to spend 6 days with such nice industrious young people. The food was amazingly good - while the highly-promoted omelet/egg muffin breakfast was very good, it was surpassed by the blueberry pancakes with chicken sausage and of course, the (meat or veggie) lasagna. The regular dutch over baking was unexpected and always cooked perfectly (not undercooked gooey nor overcooked dry - talent!). The Middle Fork is an amazingly wonderful unspoiled river. I encourage anyone to make this trip. We are enthusiastic about rafting more rivers with Northwest Rafting.

Fabulous trip with exceptional very experienced guides who made a stunning river experience even better. The food was superb, scenery beyond amazing. Some very nice hikes, peaceful floating down an amazing river, educational experiences from our knowledgeable guides, fun riding rapids and trying out the inflatable "duckies". Just a wonderful, fun outdoor adventure that not too many people will ever get to experience. Couldn't be more pleased. Highly recommend this rafting outfitter.

Had a fabulous 6-day adventure with MFRE. The guides were exceptional, great weather was perfect and we had fun like-minded people in our group. We had options of riding in the raft, or paddling inflatable kayaks (duckies) which were a lot of fun. There were some challenging and exhilarating rapids, opportunities for great hikes and morning yoga, and the food was out of this world! One of my concerns going in was the quality of the outfitter-supplied equipment (tents, sleeping pads and sleeping bags) - but it was unfounded worry, everything worked out great. Our trip was a music trip with Moors and McCumber - really the icing on the cake and made for wonderful ended to each day.

Floating down the river, watching the eagles fly, catching my first two fish on a fly, listening to amazing stories told by incredibly knowledgable guides, and letting my stress evaporate.
