We enjoyed our first view of the Snake River when we first got into Idaho at Twin Falls and had a stellar view of this important river. We saw it at different times as we drove from Twin Falls to Yellowstone National Park. The Snake River is 1078 miles long;

We did a river boat tour up the Snake river and it was awesome. Went through class 3 and 4 rapids and that was really cool. I will do this again.

Olin and Shelly do an amazing job of providing you with a fun and exciting run, but also have safety in mind. We just did the Hagerman section of the snake river with them. I thought that we had booked a 3 hour, class 2 and 3 trip, but it was actually closer to 5 hours. Because we were not... More

We were crossing the bridge from Twin Falls Idaho and did not realize it was the Snake River Canyon. We stopped at the information area and discovered it was famous for Evil Knievel's attempt at the Canyon. Great scenic look out over the canyon and the gift shop was very informative with the history of the area.

We took a three day trip with Hell's Canyon Rafting. It was fantastic. The scenery is incredible, the rapids were tons of fun, and the guides were friendly and helpful.

I put my flat water touring kayak on the Snake River in Hagerman, ID. The river is wide and very calm in this area. 1000 Springs Resort is where we camped, and could put in from our camping area. I was mostly alone for both days, except for a few motor boats that quickly pass. The only drawback was the... More

If you are in Jackson, WY or visiting South East Idaho, don't miss a chance to fly fish the Snake River. I have been a guide on the South Fork in Swan Valley, ID for over 15 years and grew up fishing the river as well. I highly recommend this gem of a river, it's great for beginners and experts...
