Wow. What a beautiful park.

As a child living in Brunswick, we visited St. Simons Island many times and picnicked in this park and skated at the old roller skating rink that was upstairs.

The roller skating rink is gone now but what they have done to this park is astounding. The brick pavers, grilling station and walkways are just gorgeous.

We visited for two nights and each morning we saw groups of people picking up trash and going on their walks. You can tell everyone is invested in this area and love it. We heard people calling out greetings by name when they saw others so we know it is frequented each morning. No wonder either. With the pier and lighthouse, it's a great place to see dolphins while waiting on the sunrise. Super nice children's playground.

There are many great restaurants within walking distance to this area and a few hotels a block away. Safe at night and early morning for your walk.

Miniature golf
Aug 2020 • Couples
This review is for the mini golf course. The location is great as you can see the ocean, but it was still stifling hot. The course itself is neat and clean, but a bit plain. No windmills or pirates! It is $8 per person, per round.

What a great place for kids! Our 3,5 and 6 year olds all loved the pool and water slides. The area is clean, has lots of chairs, and has a ton of life guards. We got the punch card which gives you $2 off per use. You get 10 uses for $60 rather than $8 per entry. It also applies to the putt putt area as well. Their is a playground right next to the pool and a large shaded picnic area.

Fun and clean!

We love this place! It’s inexpensive and a very fun place. I took my 14 year old, two 11 year olds, and an 8 year old. They had the best time. We don’t purchase food or beverages there. It’s cheaper to bring a cooler of food and drinks to keep in your car. You can come and go as you please. But coolers are not allowed. Also, large floats are not allowed. The food offered there is not good. We tried previously the hot dogs and they were horrible. You can walk near the Pier for food but keep in mind it is pricey since you are on an island. Don’t miss this place! It’s clean and it’s a salt water pool. They have plenty of lifeguards all around the area watching closely.

Simple yet satisfying! Our rental condo’s pool is a little lackluster but the pool at Neptune Park didn’t disappoint! The kids swam to their hearts content and loved the after slides. We watched big cargo ships pass by (and we even convinced them to honk the horn) from the poolside. We parents enjoyed the large umbrellas and added safety feature of lifeguards posted all over the place! Win win! We even saved money by buying the 10 punch card and were able to enjoy playing golf too. The course is simple with no theming yet challenging and so much fun for everyone, including our 4 yo. The playground is also a good place to blow any remaining energy. This is a SSI must do for those with small kids.

This is a good place for fmaily fun

We only did the miniature golf so this review is mainly about that. We were looking for something to do one evening and realized this small but well kept miniature golf course was on option. We have a great time. The only drawback is the price $8/person is a bit steep.

Good for families

Neptune park runs along the water and has play areas and picnic tables. The bulk of the park is grassy.

As of oct 2018, a large middle area under 2 large live oaks was roped off because of falling limbs.

Fun for a family of all ages
Jul 2018 • Family
With awesome clear views of the beach this park is awesome for a family with young kids. An enclosed play ground, picnic tables, and benches. The pier is full of fishermen and spectators. Clean and comfortable atmosphere.
