Challenging but fun hike

This hike is moderately challenging to complete. The out and back trail is just over 12 miles and includes a 2400 ft climb in elevation, but only has gradual inclines.

This is a long 12.6 miles down and back trail. It is mostly a gradual incline with only a few stepper climbs. The trails follows the river and offers great views of falls and water as you pop in and out of the forest. Lawn lake is beautiful and right at tree line. Tip-if you have the time and still... More

This Trail took a beating in last fall's floods, and the Alluvial Fan portion is still closed. You can still climb up to Lawn Lake, but not the side trip to Ypsilon...as the foot bridge is broken. Nice views, good shade, a bit of an incline but not too bad. Please watch the weather...best to climb in am, unless you... More
