Friends suggested this hike of around 3.5m there and back. Tip : you need to be in reasonable shape to do this hike. It’s moderate to use the guidebook wording! A great day sunny , a little too warm 60s. It’s a little steep in places but take it slow and take some breaks and you’ll get there. For me far better going up than down. Easy access from trailhead car park not far from downtown Frisco. A great hike with nice views. Get out there

We stayed at Peak One with our bumper pull. Be sure to check the size of the space of you’re bringing a rig because some sites are smaller than others. Ours was perfect. It’s quiet. The views are breathtaking from any spot. Short walk to the shore. Some families were fishing in the mornings. Bring bucket and shovels, and some extra clothes for those kiddos that like to get dirty. No showers, but the potty’s are kept very clean. We used the water spigot to partially fill a rubber tub. Leave it in the sun all day and at the end of the day you have an instant warm bathtub for the littles. Bring plenty for the kids to do, including biking. Find a hiking trail. Or drive to any town for current activities.

10.3.17 What a drive this was although next time will make sure it is a 4 wheel drive as snow can happen anytime even on a day when you would say no way will it turn cold enough as it can drop 30 degrees in a half hour. What scenery this was with the colors as fall becomes winter! Go here enjoy some of the best scenery in the good old USA. the Doctor hit me with some LOVE ❤️and a 👍 VOTE!

We hiked about 5 miles up the Ruedi overlook trail. The path was good and the fall colours and wide mountain views absolutely fantastic
