Recently used Amtrak to travel from Van Nuys station - closest to our West L.A. residence - to Santa Barbara. I chose that method to "save the marriage." (Just kidding.) BUT, seriously - it's nice to leave the driving to someone else where you can...More

This was a fun way to go from SD to LA. We had the dome car to enjoy the panoramic views of the coastal areas. We paid the the executive class upgrade which include drink and snacks and was worth it.
