We were saddened to see the effects of the recent, late 2017, California forest fire. The devastation is complete. Although it may be a lesson to take your family to view carelessness. You can take interesting photos.

If you are in the area and not going to Sequoia or Redwood, you can see some giant trees here and save yourself the trip!

I visited in Dec 2017 to see the beautiful green forest area as shown in pictures. Due to fire all the big trees are burnt completely and would take atleast few years before this area can be restored to its natural beauty. Not worth it...More
