Spent a some time gazing at the waterfall which was gushing with water when we visited in April. It's easy to access once you make it on the winding one lane road up there. A must see.

One of the most serene and beautiful places I have ever seen. Clear mountain lake which is almost full even in our severe draught. Tight parking and quite limited but worth the trip even if you have to hike in. They even have restrooms but a bit 'rustic'. I think we actually saw some beaver but they were so quick... More

Pretty Glen Alpine Falls just maybe 1 mile from the parking at Lily Lake turned out to be a great find. July water was lower so we could walk right in the falls and cool off. Strong daddies took little 7-yr-old kids right into the falls for a fun rush. TAKE WATER you can get dry and really thirsty. WEAR... More

We went in October and were surprised that there was a decent waterfall. This is a beautiful hike. We passed the ruins of a 100 yr old resort, granite cliffs and rock formations, grass filled lakes, bear scat on the trail and some of the most scenic country I have ever seen.
