We drove to South Lake Tahoe, there is an information centre there that give you a free map and guide. Then we drove all the way around this beautiful lake, which takes around three hours. We stopped at a couple of stunning beaches and took a detour into Nevada. It is just gorgeous, mountains in the background and a crystal... More

Oh My Goodness ! What a beautiful area to spend a couple of days. The Lake itself is so blue and clear and all the alpine towns and villages on the shoreline are so pretty. Take the 72 mile drive around the lake (clockwise for best views) stopping of at the vista points to admire the beauty.

Gorgeous lake up in the mountains. The water is cool and crystal clear. The sand is fine and white. Unbelievable place to share with your family. Highly recommended.
