We took the AZ route 89A up to the Canyon. This oak Creek Canyon Drive is one of the top 5 mist scenic drives in the United States of America. We enjoyed the hairpin turns and the scenic vistas and beautiful views.

Yes, this road is a state highway that is paved the entire length. It is a smooth drive and completely safe for all vehicles. Only on a few occasions, when there has been a heavy snowfall during winter, is this road closed... More
