We spent most of our trip on this highway. It is a good road to ride. Be prepared for the summer heat. Had a great time and a great ride

Drive up Arizona Highway 89A from Sedona to Flagstaff and you will see red rock formations up close which then become mountains with sheer cliffs and pine forests. You will arrive in the mountain city of Flagstaff, home to Northern Arizona University, a small town...More

I grew up in Colorado. I am used to winding roads. However, I didn't expect this beautiful canyon drive going into Sedona, Arizona. It was so amazing. Road is well kept.

Very nice scenic drive along 89A going to Flagstaff. It was extremely windy at the over view. My favorite was the boulders along the highway. One boulder reminded us of a t-rex head. We had to stop and look around. We had a lot of...More

We took the AZ route 89A up to the Canyon. This oak Creek Canyon Drive is one of the top 5 mist scenic drives in the United States of America. We enjoyed the hairpin turns and the scenic vistas and beautiful views.

Drove from Cottonwood to Prescott through Jerome. The road is twisty and winding and not much fun for the driver.

I've driven a lot of scenic highways throughout the United States and I've got to say the drive on this highway from Prescott to Sedona was not worth the time and effort. I was really looking forward to the trek, having read good travel magazine...More

crazy hairpin turns and views that are breathtaking. Go all the way to the top and you can park at the scenic view spot and walk around. They have spots to take great pictures. Lots of fun.

Yes, definitely. We saw many. Most of the travel is wide and very open country.
