Well worth going up here to see the city. We took the bus but the steps didn't look that challenging! There is a band that strikes up when you arrive and a couple of small bars.

Too many people selling and pushing their music or crafts to even enjoy the view. Used to be alot more relaxed than it is now. Every step you take someone is pushing something on you to pay for, made it very uncomfortable.

We choose to take the bus up instead of the stairs as there was too many. The view of the city was nice but not much else to see or do.

View was fantastic of Holguin city especially at night. Kids 7&10 beat us up 458 large steps. Restaurant a little further up road on top of hill was good too.

I've been here twice - once on the full day Holguin tour that includes the train and this time on the Expresss half day tour. Terrific view of Holguin and surrounding mountains.
