The colonial Arquitectura Museum is beautifully restored building in town center. It is interesting to visit the rooms and to explore the colonial objects and the designs of the famous Trinidad buildings. Well worth a visit but accompanying a guide to explaining historical facts.

What I loved most about my visit to this museum was the guided tour. I wandered in alone and a slender elderly lady started to give me directions and explain things - in Spanish. Which I don't speak. But we persisted in our attempt to communicate and by the end of it, I'm sure I understood more than if I'd just looked at all the design elements myself.

This former Casa de Padron is an interesting museum. The entrance fee is 1CUC only. Throughout the eight rooms exhibits are displayed in chronological order that range from very early times almost up to when it was colonised. It's worth spending time in because it's so interesting.

Some very interesting artifacts of the precolumbian history. Some discussion of slavery, but mostly an afterthought.

It was fantastic to get a tour from a knowledgeable tour guide who spoke fluent English and who....wait for it...WASN'T ON THE MAKE!

For once the guide didn't claim to be secretly letting us into rooms (for a tip), or produce lace/cd/cigars from their pocket and try to sell them to you. She just genuinely knew her museum and did her job properly.

The museum itself is beautiful and interesting with a small exhibition and a sense of how people lived. There is an original Thomas Crapper loo, slave stocks etc.

Well worth a visit but you get accompanied by a guide for the entire duration which is a bit annoying but useful for pointing out things I'd have missed otherwise. fascinating display of wealth and engineering.

We visited the Museo and it was very interesting! Lots of history and beautiful inside. We saw some people with tour guides which I think can be beneficial if you want a more detail experience.

I admire who can build a museum around nothing, even forbidding to take pictures (but paying more you're allowed to, of course!).
Just few rooms to show little pieces of old architecture elements, briefly commented in Spanish.
