The tour contains ride on old Russian made ZIL trucks. We were led by a local specialist guide who showed us the local flora and fauna. After 3 km trekking there was an amazing cold water waterfall where we could have a refreshing bath.

A nice hike through the jungle to reach the lagoon and waterfalls. The water is really cold, but it was nice to cool off after getting a little sweaty.

It's a great attraction for half of the day. We took a taxi from Trinidad to the mountains and than ca 20 min.walk. Waterfall is nice and water very refreshing. It's really worth to do it!

A great little hike, up the mountains from the city of Trinidad. It takes 45 mins to reach the falls and then enjoy a dip in the natural pool to cool off. Easy, cheap and fun!

Nice hike through the forest ending with a waterfall and a natural pool a bit downstream. About an hour each way, with uphill on return back.

Really enjoyed the hike and subsequent swim in the lake. Topes de Collantes is absolutely beautiful. Just make sure you get a taxi that is in decent condition as roads are really steep and winding.

Supposedly a 4 km walk but in fact before you reach the walk itself you need to go over a km from the parking. A very steep walk down and therefore back up through mostly shaded hills. Arrived at the bottom to find that the 60+ metre waterfall was in fact a series of smaller cascades. The pool at the... More

It was some days after the rain. We went with a taxi (around 25CUC, return fare with waiting time) to the entrance of the trail. We walked through the wonderful forest and reached Caburní waterfalls. It was a nice show. One can even walk up the rocks, while the water is flowing down. Another piece of trail leads you to... More
