Pretty Area

Pretty square with interesting buildings around. Visited a "posh" house and the cathedral impressed with the colourful roofs and people.

This plaza is just a nice walk from the busy streets of the barrios to the culinary centre of town. Not a lot of shade, but the seats are welcome after battling the uneven streets at night. It seems to be free of the Cuban hustlers, so it is quite relaxing, in that sense. ( One tip for the girls.....I... More

Great Spanish colonial square. Makes for a perfect rest in the shadow or that colonial photo opportunity.

Plaza Mayor is a great place to sit and watch the world go by, tourists, touts, basket sellers, beggars, musicians, children playing, song birds and lovebirds! Try and find a shady bench to soak up the atmosphere as the music drifts across the airwaves you will be immersed in Cuban life. We were intrigued by a 'Quinceañera' ceremony or 'Sweet... More

The small square at the center of Trinidad is extremely picturesque, as is the rest of the town. As like everywhere in Cuba touts are barred from the square itself, but that relief ends as soon as you leave it's borders, so do make the most of the tranquility!

Central square with museums and shops during the day - buzzing meeting/dancing area at night. Locals and tourist out drinking and dancing. Heaps of fun. A must do.

We enjoyed the walks through the cobbled streets of this small town. Palacio Brunet was most interesting to see, original marble floor and historical objects belonging to rich families; it had neoclassical decoration etc.

In this old town you can really feel old times. Thie is totaly different then Havana. Nice small restaurants and art galleries. You can walk around and watch different old houses.

A must see in Trinidad and we still enjoyed walking the square, but don't visit on a Sunday as everything, but the church, is closed.
