Just a beautiful setting. Very relaxing just sitting on the bench seats provided. Watching the boats coming and going. The water is so peaceful

There couldn’t possibly be a more appropriate introduction to the visual marvel that is the South Island than the picturesque port town of Picton. Beauty surrounds you the moment you disembark from the ferry having been witness to the Marlborough Sounds. A perfect place to...More

Unwinding by the water or in a cafe or eating at one of the great places here - or relaxing with a good book - very enjoyable. If you want a place to chill - this could be for you

Lots of ferries flying the sound, including to Wellington. Great way to see the region from the water. Want to do the "mail route" next time I'm in Picton.

A modern playground with a waterpark. Clean modern toilets, manicured lawns , walkway bridges over the marina where stingrays can be spotted. Just gorgeous.
