We had an amazing time, although we did not get to actually swim with the dolphins. We did however see the rare Hector's Dolphin with the even more rare sight of them with their calves. That made it well worth it! We did receive a partial refund for not being able to actually swim with the dolphins and we were... More

Firstly didn't get to swim with dolphins so overall disappointing experience. Saw a few smaller dolphins, totalling maybe 7 dolphins across 2 pods, over the course of the half day and as these were all hector dolphins were told we could not swim with these. Had thought that swimming with dolphins was only weather dependent once found but this isn't... More

We did a 2 hour boat tour with a 45 minute stop at a wildlife reserve. I hadn't read the brochure properly so wasn't expecting the uphill walk to a lookout mid tour but the view was worth it (wear good shoes - my sandals weren't quite up to the task). Not a great tour for very unfit or frail... More

Our very knowledgeable guide Paul took us by boat to the wildlife sanctuary at Shakespeare Bay where a young ranger took us up a beautiful and sometimes challenging track to see the local environment and appreciate the amazing efforts being made to provide safe habitat for Little Blue penguins and other native wildlife. The second part of the tour took... More

We ultimately didn't want to do the swim in Picton anyway but due to recent events Kaikoura wasn't an option! I have met people who have done it at both places and everybody has said Kaikoura is the place to go - more chance of swimming with the Dolphins and much more interaction. I booked through book-me, which outlined the... More

WOWWWWWWWSSERRR!!! Amazing, swan with wild dolphins. Bottled nosed, and dusky dolphins. Beautiful and wild. You cannot touch them, only observe them but what a view. The mother and calf swam up to the boat after we had swam with them at least three times. What an experience. Gaia and her english work colleague were professional, kind and very good at... More

Went on a dolphin swimming tour with E-Ko Tours and the staff were friendly and professional. Swam with dolphins three times and spotted some blue penguins and a fur seal. Staff were ready with hot beverages after the swim - much appreciated as we started shivering once the adrenaline wore off. Note that you'd be changing into your wet suits... More
