Visited with my group of friends, one of our favourite places in Freo. Brunch at the cafe and an exploration of the WA made Sculptures by Bathers Beach. I found this venue a great exhibition area, and probably more friendly than the major Sculptures by the Sea, held later in the month.
Bathers Beach and the precinct of Fremantle is definitely a place to visit and don't forget to pop into Life to art space which always has something beautiful and of interest to see.

This is closest beach to Fremantle town so gets well used. What makes it special are the range of sculptures strategically arranged on the beach and around. To make it even more special go at night and see them lit up. Truly amazing.

There’s currently a temporary sculpture exhibition at Bathers Beach, so a friend and I stopped in there to check it out. The exhibition is great with many different sculptures, and great views as well. Well worth the visit.

The Roundhouse is on the beach, near the centre of Fremantle. It is one of the oldest structues still standing in Western Australia (WA). Bathers Beach is behind the Rounghouse. It is a pleasant beach, good for paddling. The water is rarely rough. It is close to the centre of Fermantle, WA's port city..

Short stroll and visit after lunch at Cicerellos. Surprisingly, other than my wife and I enjoying the view, nary another person in sight. Not even a stray dog exercising. Perhaps the multitude of squabbling gulls were a deterrent.

This beach gets a lot of visitors mainly because of its location close to the popular fishing wharf. But it can be quite pretty, especially around sunset. The water is not the most clean looking, and I'm not sure I'd choose it for swimming - South Beach is only about 5km away and much prettier for that. But it's a good spot to enjoy some fish and chips or some of the many food options in the area.

Love this beach because it sits right in front of my home. Go there everyday during the summer and on other times when its nice and sunny. In the middle of a city near pubs, restaurants, markets. Plenty to do for kids and adults. Very small waves and protected from surges. Great family and backpacker beach

Bathers Beach In Fremantle is located just behind the Roundhouse. The beach is only small with some deck chairs provided. Restaurants are scattered along the boardwalk which makes heading down to the beach enjoyable although the beach itself is ordinary it’s handy for a swim.

Lovely sheltered beach - can visit with just a stroll over looking or actually go for a swim. There are heaps of attractions to see in this area. Don't forget to visit the bar on the beach

On my walks through beautiful Fremantle I also passed by the towns beach, but didn't go into the water. From the south, from Fishing Boat Harbour, there is a boardwalk, which leads to some café-bars by the sand. A good view over the whole beach can be had from the Round House.
