Situated right on the beach, excellent views out to the ocean, however we were in Fremantle for a conference, and went here for drinks and our evening meal. Quantity and quality of food was very below par, which was a real shame.

At first it was a bit daunting to read notices to be careful in the beautiful sand dunes because of snakes. But the access to the beach is possible without going near snakes and the reward for getting there is well worth it. A great...More
This is a small but beautiful beach that is easily reached by walking to it from downtown Fremantle. There is a restaurant here with both indoor and outdoor seating and it is only a few steps to more seafood restaurants.
You can see this beach from the Roundhouse. The walk there is lovely. The beach itself is quite big and nearly deserted when we were there. There appears to be seaweed which was being collected by a group of volunteers...or it appeared to be such....More
