Not many shops are open. But you can find some very cheap souvenirs here (there’s another megabes outlet here and another souvenir shop owned by Indonesian). Less people compared to megabes in the fremantle market.

Everyone told me to go here, wish they hadn’t bothered. Food court was dark, untidy, scruffy and I couldn’t bring my self to eat anything. Shops were selling cheap tat at high prices. Really disappointed.
Open from 9 am the E-shed markets located at Peter Hughes drive, Fremantle ,offer a nice view of the historic wharf.Adjacent to the new maritime museum, the market has a food court with promenade dining on the victoria quay.
Don't even bother visiting this place as there was only 6-7 stalls/ outlets open (selling nearly the same stuff - souvenirs, nuts and a few places to eat), and while the rest of the stalls was not open or permanently closed. This place should be...More
Came down to have a wonder around the stalls and sit in the sun on the boardwalk with a feed and a cold beer and listen to the music.
Not many stalls unless you want a Aussie souvenir. Food was basic and very very average...More
was easy to get to from perth using public transport but was disapointed to discover around half the stalls were empty/closed. nothing much really from local artisans. worth maybe 15 minutes on your way to somewhere else.
Lousy merchandise and I will not recommend anyone there. Not a place to look for unique gifts. Food options are limited. You will probably be better off to visit the food /cafe outlets along cappuccino strip (South Ter).
