I've been visiting this shop for nearly 20 years, often in search of a particular map or travel guide, and I always leave with at the the success of having had a good time. The shop stocks maps, nautical charts, travel guides and books on travel, vintage travel posters and loads of other things vaguely related to travel, the outdoors and boating. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and even if they don't have the map or book you're looking for, they can confirm whether it exists or not, and get it for you.

I stumbled across this shop as I strolled around Freeo. I thought it was very interesting and had a charming almost old world charm you never see now. It has an amazing selection of items and there could be the gift you will never find anywhere else. Worth a browse if you are in the town.

It makes me feel good to go into this store. I love the maps, the posters encouraging you to visit the world, the travel guides, the coastal motif, the comfy chairs, and the globes -- lots and lots of globes. And the people who work there, who are lovely and friendly and helpful. It's also right next door to our favorite restaurant in Freo -- Duck Duck Bruce -- so together they make a fun afternoon of munching and browsing (and usually buying).
