I stumbled across this shop as I strolled around Freeo. I thought it was very interesting and had a charming almost old world charm you never see now. It has an amazing selection of items and there could be the gift you will never find anywhere else. Worth a browse if you are in the town.

Fantastic Map Shop with any map of any where in the world.
We love to have a map when planing our travels and we plot our course as we travel along with our GPS especially on our overseas trips.
The Map Shop never disappoints always having in stock what we require.
The service is friendly and always very helpful.

I'd like to thank the fantastic staff at the Chart & Map Shop in Fremantle for a friendly, efficient, and professional service in regards to the purchase of a Hema HN7 gps unit. There price was the best I could find and postage to the other side of the country was not an issue and free!! A wide range of gadgets, charts, maps, books, and a good knowledge of their products.

Shocking customer service experience.
Had to wait two months for an item that was listed as “in stock”.... heard excuse after excuse and eventually asked for a refund. They agreed to the refund and then ignored me for over a week. I then received an email from atoll Group telling me my order was being dispatched. I obviously no longer wanted this order and had already purchased something else after waiting so long. Absolutely appalling and I still don’t have my money back and assume they will make me pay to send it back (which is outrageous).
The customer service correspondent is completely misleading.

I ordered three maps on February 2nd 2015. Twelve days later I received a warning that the maps were "still a week and a half away" I rang twice more before cancelling on march 15th (six weeks after the order) with still no sign of the maps and no commitment to an actual delivery date. No one at the shop seemed the least bit concerned.
I then ordered the same maps online (Wordery on ebay) and two of the maps have arrived within three days so I will have them before I go on the holiday involved

It makes me feel good to go into this store. I love the maps, the posters encouraging you to visit the world, the travel guides, the coastal motif, the comfy chairs, and the globes -- lots and lots of globes. And the people who work there, who are lovely and friendly and helpful. It's also right next door to our favorite restaurant in Freo -- Duck Duck Bruce -- so together they make a fun afternoon of munching and browsing (and usually buying).

This is a very interesting shop, especially for people who enjoy travel or who are interested in maps or flags. The store sells maps of practically every place in the world plus a large assortment of world maps. It also sells a large selection of travel books covering all around the world. There are some children's books and also some vintage travel posters. They print these things for the customer in colour or black and white. This would be a good place to visit for people visiting WA or planning a holiday.

Not only does this shop have incredibly hot staff, it also has The Best selection of travel guides and books and maps you could ask for. A few hours spent whiled away in here is as good as any spent dreaming on Google Maps. A must visit in gorgeous seafaring Freo.

I wandered into this shop looking for a man who doesn't have hobbies, works all the time and hates clothes for his birthday. Great knowlegable staff who were very very helpful. I bought a map of the world and they had it laminated for me and I picked it up the next week. Everything was made easy and the advice was brilliant. Also bought little dots for him to plan his next trip and he loved it!!!!

I went on a mission to find a giant map of the Kimberley Coast that I could get laminated and the Chart & Map Shop did not disappoint me. They obviously have a massive range of maps and reasonable selections of travel books.
Worth a visit.
