The Fremantle Arts Centre has been many things, including a home for the mentally unstable. It has been around for a very long time, now it is a centre for the arts in Western Australia (WA). WA is not what you would call a hot spot for the arts, most people arer more interested in going to the beach than... More

The Fremantle Art Gallery is about 1 km out of the centre of Fremantle. The building and gardens are very attractive, historical. Depending on when you visit, the art exhibited ranges from a few pieces for a few rooms of items. It is not a large art centre where tourists can wander for an hour. The last few times I... More

Have been here many time for various events. It has a real community feel about it. Shady and pretty grounds. Perfect for hosting fete's, bands and Art shows. They also have a quaint little cafe for coffee and cake with friends.Love it.

This is a must see when visiting or living in Fremantle or Perth. Have breakfast in their small, quaint courtyard cafe or attend one of their many outdoor concerts. The food and coffee is delicious! The service is great although on weekends it's hard to get in. We've frequented this place many times while living and touring in Western Australia.... More

Interesting one to review. Nothing it offers is standout in its own right, but then everything adds up to a wonderful little experience. There's the fine heritage building, the shady courtyard, catchy art expo's, good cafe and what must rate as one of the most intetesting gift shops we've been to. And the whole thing is free. Go visit and... More
