When in Lauterbrunnen visit either the Staubach Falls (an easy stroll from town centre) or the Murren Falls which have a nice relaxing stream that is easily accessible. Both lovely visits.

From Interlaken Switzerland thru the town of Lauterbrunnen, on the way to catch the cable car up to the Schilthorn, you're treated to an amazing array of gorgeous waterfalls. Stop and catch the outstanding scenery.

This waterfall is very close to Lauterbrunnen (outskirts). You can go by walking. Despite waterfall can be seen from Lauterbrunnen village, it is highly recomended to get closer for a better view. Worthy the visit. It is completely free.

The lautetbrunnen valley is like the Grand Canyon, in that it changes with the light. Marvel at one view, look back in 5 minutes and be amazed at the new things you notice. The closest waterfall, Staubbach, didn't have much water today, but the sheer...More

This powerful waterfall was an unexpected surprise located almost in the center of the town. It was an easy, enjoyable walk up to the waterfall. There were even hiking poles supplied at the start of the path.

Interesting day visit from town. We thoroughly enjoyed trip. Wish we had better understood the heights though, as I have a fear. Hubby took lots of great photos though.

This is sort of interesting, but honestly, the best thing about it was having a chance to get out of the heat!
