The Lauterbrunnen Valley apparently has 72 waterfalls. Although the Staubbach Falls is the one that most people can see the Trummelbach falls are a must visit. They have been carved through the rock by glacial waters and comprise of ten powerful and loud falls which...More

Was not sure what to expect, but this place was really cool. A glacier water fall that has carved itself deep into the side of a cliff. There are lots of stairs so make sure you are up for it. Also, its a nice hike...More

I've been here a number of times over the past 15 years and the power and beauty of the waterfalls is amazing. Definitely worth going to and especially on a wet weather day when other attractions may not be as good, these waterfalls are even...More

Well maintained site Pictures can hardly grasp the power that the falls unleash. It can be a bit crowded at peak times. Free parking lot.

A half day walk from lauterbrunnen and back to this beautiful gorge with waterfalls. The path from lauterbrunnen to falls is beautiful with the views of ice capped mountains. Alternatively, you can take a bus from lauterbrunnen if ou want to avoid the long walk.

From the road you would never know what beauty and power was in the hills, just a short (5 min) walk from the parking lot. An Elevator takes you up part way and then you hike up a little further and then hike back down,...More

I ended up going in on my own and leaving my 1.5 year old and husband behind. It was pretty neat, definitely worth the price, but one visit is enough. It is quite chilly inside and I got a little wet. It is very loud...More

This place is amazing surrounded with spectacular views and mountain. Kids enjoyed the waterfalls. Good to visit after May. Gushing sound of water is amazing. Good Idea to club it with visit to Schilthorn Piz Gloria

We took the local bus from Lauterbrunnen to the falls one morning and took the elevator up and continued to climb the stairs to see the powerful glacial waters gushing through the interior of the mountain! The stairs are wet but they were wide enough...More

Don't know for sure, but I can't imagine why they shouldn't be. Its on the valley floor and I'm sure the road from Lauterbrunnen to Trummelbach Falls is open all year round, unless there is a serious storm. It's worth... More
