The camping site in Lenungshammar is as beautiful as many wrote here, I don't need to add more. But: don't believe you're in "wilderness"! It's more kind of a comfortable nature camping site with space for more than 50 caravans (=100-200 people) plus tents plus canoe-groups, cars and a paved road nearby. From THERE you may start tours into the nature reserve, but Lenungshammar DEFINITELY doesn't feel like nature reserve ! For my impression the advertising of Glaskogen is missleading. Therefore only 3 points...

We canoed there and it was a great experience. The lakes were beautiful and it was not too busy so we could enjoy the nature.

Very nice place to go hiking and camping. There are not so much tourists in the area so it's pretty calm. There are a lot of small lakes and rivers in Glaskogen where it's perfect for canoeing.

Very nice place for hiking and canoeing. But be aware that nearly half of the northern part of the reserve has been ripped off his threes. the wood industry took down many threes there. The official website says that you will most likely see animals, but it’s more if you are lucky.

Very nice vieuws. Wind shelters are in excellent condition. Great to sleep in, have a camp fire. Fire wood is provided as well is there often a wilderness toilet available. For people who would like a more fysical and back to nature holiday I would recomend it.

This is the biggest Natural Park in Värmland and is a fantqstic place for hiking and bicing. There are a lot of places for fishing and camping (not regulated campsites). There is many wild animals. Bears, Wolfs, Mouse and Elks. A lot of wild berries are to be found, Cloudberries, Blueberries, and others.

Such a beautiful area for canoeing, walking and camping. You can spend a nice week end there. You have to buy a special card if you want to sleep there though. It is like a fee for the nature reserve. We have a great time walking for the day and the scenerey is such magnificient
