This is an amazingly beautiful church. Take a camera, the art and statues, frescoes etc are outstanding.

We visited here during our walk around this not to be missed beautiful town. The church was amazing and the altar was truly magnificent. The belltower offers great views of the surrounding area. Not to be missed.

Unique church interior, murals with religious scenes in blue and white tile and a very different style. Needs to be seen.

In December 2017 it cost €2 entry to the church, plus €1 to go up the bell tower for views over Tavira.

This small church - up from the open plaza and down from the castle walls - is beautifully ornate and most certainly worth a visit.
