This was one of my favorite mini-expeditions during a month in the Algarve. There's a charming little train that takes you out past the lagoon to the beach, but I chose the 20 minute walk instead, and it was very pleasant. Lots of birds and...More

This is our favorite spot in the Tavira area. We like walking to the beach, the beach it’s fantastic, nice restaurants and coffee places. Very clean. You almost would like to hide this from all the other people 😊

A beautiful beach with full service. There is a quite train ride just after the bridge. Fun for families. The water was a bit cold at this time of year, but who cares the sand is warm and the view is super.

I've never seen any huge pipes on the beach at Barril, if they were washed up by storms the government will clear them.
