This is a lovely, romantic square with a great view. Perfect for a stroll at night and a quick drink. However, it only scratches the surface of that Ponte di Lima has to offer! Make sure you venture into the town and check the many other sites and things to do, including lovely parcs, picknick sites and cafes!

Behind the fountain are several pubs and restaurants, where people enjoy the sunshine and good food. On the square was also a very interesting tree. It is gnarled and looks ancient. It too brings some character into the mix. Facing the fountain we see the Ponte de Lima Bridge in all its beauty. I enjoyed this square, especially the gnarled tree and the beautiful fountain
