- Alice SLund, Sweden602 contributionsBeautiful handcraftWe had our way past the glass blower shop and went in to see if we could watch someone make something and we were in luck. A french guy was making a candle holder and it was fascinating to watch. He was very friendly and told us to ask any questions we wanted. It was a pleasure to watch him work. I just wish I had more money so I could buy the huge turquoise vase, incredibly beautiful (but it was over 500 euros) Great visit, free of charge and no pressure to buy anything. Definitely worth a visit if you're interested in handcrafts.Traveled with friendsWritten August 23, 2016
- linepawelczyk0309Aarhus, Denmark29 contributionsFlot glaspusteriSkagen Glaspusteri har de smukkeste vaser + de flotteste vinglas EVER, meget fint udført. Glaspusterens værksted ligger midt i butikken, superfascinerende at kigge på at de laver glasset. De laver helt klart noget, som ingen andre laver.Traveled with friendsWritten December 27, 2015

My wife insists on visiting here every time we visit Skagen.
This is a glass blower workshop and shop - not an activity. When you come in someone is most likely working on some hot glass. Our kids are always captivated by this.
The tings they make and sell are lovely.

We wandered in here and were surprised to find the glass blower and his assistant working right in the middle of the shop. It was an amazing experience to watch them creating beautiful glassware in front of their customers. We just had to buy three pieces and they will always remind us of our visit to Skagen.
