The museum is amazing! Not sure what the price is on a regular day as we went when it was free, and we bought our tickets online. The museum is in the apartment house where Pope John Paul II lived, and is also conveniently located at the main square. You're not allowed to take photos for most of the tour,... More

A visit inside the house of a great Saint is enough to move one to tears. The memorabilia and various pieces/exhibit inside are very informative..

Don't skip the family home, you have to buy a ticket in a booth off to the right, and inside is very nice and well worth going in!!!

This is a wonderful place to visit while in Poland. The home is located next to the church he grew up in . The sun dial is marked with the time and date of St JP II death. A truly holy place.

Reasonably priced, this museum was built around the few rooms in which John Paul was born and raised. Nicely constructed and very modern, the museum was actually air conditioned, which made the tour more pleasant. Our English-speaking guide was very knowledgeable and gave a very nice presentation. The tour was not overlong, lasting a little over an hour. Some of... More

I realy liked the place, the exhibitions were very nicely arranged. Nonetheless, in my opinion the whole tour was a little too focused on the city of Wadowice and not enough focused on the Pope himself. I just expected something a little different.

Stayed in Krakow and booked the tour of Pope John Paul II's family home from our hotel. We payed 25 zlotys each (about 6e) and got a bus from the central station for about 8 zlotys each (one way). The town of Wadowice is quaint and nice to visit. The first thing we did was get some Papal cream cake... More
