The three of us travelled to the Gorge by a "Melex" electric car (tours available from Market Square), which is the easiest way to get there if you don't have much time, but it is not far from town centre. We were then given about half an hour to walk into the gorge and back - the views are amazing, but wear good walking shoes and do not go there on wet days as it can be muddy and slippery.
Definitely the most interesting natural attraction in Sandomierz.

You can walk her from the city or take one of the tourist cars from the central market square. It's a short uphill walk. High heels not advised, but that's a detail. It's a special place to visit.

Great trip. We arrived at approximately 10:30 am and started our hike. It took us roughly 15 minutes to walk to the end of the path, and then back to our car. The scenery is spectacular and unique. Some of the path was uneven and a bit difficult to walk on.

TIP: I recommend spending 30 minutes here if you truly want to see everything.

It does not impress so much. I could give 4 stars but all in all I would like to be honest with people who read my sometimes poor and sometimes successful reviews. It is admittedly a must-see when visiting this wonderful city, but it does not make a big impression on me. For me, it is prettier in Kazimierz Dolny or in Nałęczów. Loess ravine is a structure often found in these areas. Watch out for the elderly and in weak shoes after the rain, the ground gets dirty and it is quite unpleasant to walk. There is an answer that the young Jadwiga, Queen of Poland, was to be stuck with a snow sled here and the local peasants were to help her get her belongings out.

There were some cool features in the landscape and some steep hills to climb if you were adventurous. But overall it was a tranquil walk through the woods as our taxi waited for us.

It is indeed a very nice place to walk at the forest. It took us around 10 minutes to walk along all the path, so don't expect a long journey. If you are travelling during the summer, bring with you anti-mosquito repellent!

The gully is very nice. High walls around with trees and roots. It looks unbelivable. Whe you are visiting Sandomierz it is one of top 5 places to visit :)

In general, it's a nice place to visit, especially when you take into account the fact that you're in the city. The drawback though, the path is amazingly short; just a dozen of steps, not more.

First of all you need trekking shoes. After you wear your shoes you can enjoy a small walk on the gorge.
