We came for a tasting and were so charmed by the winery, Marceli the vitner, and the beautiful grounds that we decided to stay for a few days! Their apartments are just perfect, everything you'd need and more, in a chic space filled with light and lovely views of the vineyard. We were truly able to relax, as we took walks by the river, explored the vineyard, and sipped the excellent Sandomierska wines. If you are looking for a getaway close to the city and away from it all, we'd highly recommend this winery.

While visiting Poland last August my nephew and I we went to Winnica Sandomierska just to visit. I have been to many wineries in US and Canada but it was my first time in Poland. Such a lovely place. We spend a beautiful afternoon sampling wines and cheese as well as going through the winyards! I bought few bottles of wine and several pieces of cheese. The black cheese was the best! I will definitely visit Winnica Sandomierska next time I'm in Poland.

Some Polish friends took me around in the Sandomierski area in a sort of wine tour. I must confess that among the wineries that we visited, Sandomierska Winery offered me a wine that I liked more than all the other ones I tasted : I am talking about "Sandomirius". A full bodied red wine : a blend of Regent (80%) and Cabernet Cantor (20%). Fresh berries, herbs and a pleasant pepper after taste. To be honest I would have never expected to find such a good wine in Poland. We were warmly welcomed buy a very young guy who showed a great passion for his job ... and for sure his fondness and enthusiasm are transferred to the final product. If you are in the nearby do not miss to book a wine tasting. If you do not feel like driving ... the Winery offers three apartments for rent !

It's around 8 km from Sandomierz in the beautiful valley of Opatówka River. We went there by bike ant it is good idea to have bike trip in loess gullys and uphills. It is a good idea to call them and make an appointment for sightseeing of vineyard and tasting of wine. Your trip starts and You will go to see a vineyard with bird-netting and to listen a history of "Sandomierska Vineyard". After around 30 min You will move to testing room and see the place where Marceli Małkiewicz (owner of vineyard) is making in the late autumn the wine. Then you will have testing of four different wines white and red. We also ordered cheese which was made by father of the owner and it is very good idea to do that. The cost of that trip is 15 zl - 4 euro for person (chees not included). With several other vineyard that established "wine track" or "wine route" so if You really like wines You can test several other vineyard.

The hotel offered a tour, we opted to go sightseeing by car as we had a vehicle. Family run vineyard. We had a small tour and sampling of the 4 variety of wine on offer, included the home made cheese and local white honey. Absolutely worth the visit.

It was quite cold in April but anyway it was nice to visit this place. The owner is very attentive and kind, he offered vine, honey and juice - showed some grape and territory for degustation.

I have been coming to Poland every few years since I was a child and never knew that Poland made wine!! And it was actually good! The girl who owns the vineyard is young and full of energy and knowledge about the cultivating of grapes and is a pleasure to listen to. The wine tour and tasting is cheap even if the bottles are not. But it's worth it to buy. My aunt is a wine person and snubbed polish wine saying it's all garbage but when she tried the white from here she's like "oh my God it's actually good!" Converted!! It was a lovely experience and we enjoyed the wine immensely and have recommended it to many people to give this place a try. They sell their own wine on the spot (50zł) where it's more expensive in the town of sandomierz. It's good to support the small local community of wine makers!! The tour and tasting runs about 30 minutes. Remember there is a no alcohol tolerance policy or driving so make sure you have someone to drive that will not be tasting wine. I used google maps to get here but it's very close to sandomierz town itself. Enjoy the beautiful countryside with some beautiful wine!!

Wine lovers - look no further. This is more than You expect. One may think Poland is still ages back in wine making. Huge mistake - this place will proove you wrong. Great host, exceptional wines and perfect ambience of a Tuscan wineyard. It is a hospitality at it’s best! Enjoy - u will thank me later
