The heart of Trebon lined with Baroque buildings now dedicated to restaurants, bars and shops. A pleasant place to stroll and then sit and watch others strolling by.

Chose market day to visit the square and the stalls impeded our view of the architecture somewhat. Market itself nothing to write home about. Probably 10 stalls if that.

Nice houses surrounding the square - but there are better places, such as Telc. There's a tower by the city hall but visibility was not good so we did not climb up. In previous centuries the city people made their money from growing (and selling)...More

The square you cannot miss in the Trebon. There is a tourist information office, nice fountain and good restaurants. Od course, the most important is the medieval spirit of the place.

Masarykovo Namesti is a central square in Trebon with nicely kept houses and frequent outdoors markets and music performances. Given the small size of Trebon it is a hardly avoidable must see and a good central point to explore the town from.

We made a circle tour out of Prague. Chesky Krumlov and Trebon are two cities of contrast. The first was touristy and full of cheap tourist souveniers. Trebon was a quiet town with good food and non touristy. We enjoyed walking the square and dining...More

This square is lovely. You can get there through 3 gates - Budějovická from north, Hradecká from East and Svinenská from south. There are plenty of houses with baroque and renaissance gabels, colourful facades and hidden arcades. Most of the houses were reconstructed after fires...More

To visit Trebon it is always good to do. Considering just the main square, you will find interesting set of baroque and renaissance architecture. If you have some time, go to visit the town hall tower. It offers nice overview of surrounding countryside. As it...More

On the road from Telc to Ceske Budejovice, looking for a restaurant, I've discovered Trebon (Tjebony), and it was an outstanding surprise, beyond a very tasty and cheap lunch. The nice spacious Masaryk square, the picturesque buildings, the castle and the cultivated park - all...More
