About
Glassworks Harrachov is the oldest still-working glassworks in Bohemia and most probably in the world. During your personal visit, you can take a factory tour, visit museum of glass, have a beer from our own microbrewery, enjoy a relaxing bath in beer and visit one of our two glass shops.

We have really enjoyed the short tour around the glasswork. The guys there are really producing nice pieces. Make sure to visit the store as well.

During our visit to Harrachov we had on the list excursion to local Glass Factory. Since we had enough time we managed to have a luncheon at the Brewery Pub. And it was great experience, refreshing local beer, Czech cuisine incl special menu for children and attentive service. All absolutely enjoyable and definitely good value.

A very interesting tour. The guide also spoke English, so did a bilingual talk. We stayed in the "hotel". It is really a hostel but it enabled us to cook our own meals and the ensuite room was clean. It is on a busy road with heavy lorries and the traffic starts very early in the morning. The village is very pretty. Do visit the national park museum. They have laminated sheets with translations to borrow & are very welcoming.

It was quite interesting but there was no English tour so we had to join a Czech one and got a printout about the history..The tour group was very big and it was a bit cramped walking around. They spent way too long around the glass blowing and my children were totally bored after siting watching the workers for 20 minutes. I would say if the tour was shorter and tour director was friendlier it would be better.

No English tour was available but they did provide an information sheet. This place has been making glass for a long time and they use a lot of older techniques. Glass is actually blown vs using compressed air. All is done by hand.

Restaurant connected with glassworks serving local brew. We were seated at the inner balcony with the view on inside of the glassworks and it was awesome. The service and food was great as well. Definitely recommend.

It was just a quick lunch but was excellent. Daily menu with garlic soup, Risotto. Marimared cheese and Pancakes. Have tried normal and also non-alcoholic beer. All lovely. Professional and attentive staff.

Just a short stop in Harrachov on the way to Poland from Prague - very good stop for lunch at brewery pub Novosad Harrachov. There is also an excursion but the highlight for us was a lunch at the pub. Garlic soup is delicious served by pleasant waiter, goulash and all other food very good. I did like this pub enormouslly

Nice +-2h to see how glass is made in the old fashion way (including museum visit and little drink pause).
This kind of handcraft may dissepear soon.
Would have been nice if it was a bit more interactive but still we could go all the way next the workers and see the manufacturing from real close

Had a wonderful tour. English speaking. And Czech and Polish. And a little German as well. The glass blowing is amazing and hot. The free beer was good too the glass shop was difficult to navigate They should offer shipping.
