Large car park (paid 200CZK per day) a short walk from the entrance. Challenging walk via reasonably passable paths. (Many boulders and tree roots that are slippery in wet weather) very cozy and very cheap restaurant at the waterfall as well as a small souvenir shop. Beautiful area for walking.

When you park your car at the museum (100 kronor) you walk straight onto the forest path. It's a nice walk in the woods. The path is odd, but very doable with a young child. The waterfall is small but so in the middle of the forest very nice. Despite being busy, it feels peaceful. If you put your feet in the water, pay attention to the smooth stones. Seen a lot of people fall. There are many flat stones you can sit on for a while. Good picnic spot.
You can walk up if you want. Nice to do a little bit, then it's more of the same. Absolutely recommended!

This place is unique natural beauty. Mumlava waterfall is one of the best spots to visit in the whole Krkonose National Park. We visited this corner of beautiful nature during October, there was no snow or ice yet and we thoroughly enjoyed the green of the forest and the turquoise color of the Mumlava River. We were surprised by the beauty of the waterfall and the cascades. We experienced complete relaxation with the murmur of water and the singing of birds.

We came with small children's and we took a short walking (about 20 minutes) directly from the parking (Centralní parkoviště) to the waterfalls.
the walking was very easy and suitable for everyone, the nature is beautiful.
after reaching the bridge near to the waterfalls can go 100 meter at the hill and there is a small restaurant and toilets.

The walking is easy, although it might be more difficult with a stroller. If you do not have a lot of time there is a car park near the falls. It is even possible to go on a tourist 'train'.

Not a big waterfall, but hidden in nature and forest. 20-30 minutes from Harrachov. With stroller, be aware and use the asphalt path. And last but not least: no tickets or fees :)

Worth a visit if you are staying in the town. Nice walk through the woods to a small waterfall where you can paddle a bit. Suited for families with small children.

I will be visiting Harrahov this year in late October. What weather should I expect and are there any mountain trails near a town which I can take a walk or easy hike on? Thank you
Written September 23, 2019
I'm not sure about weather, there are some long term weather forecast on the Internet.
What about mountain trails, I was walking from Harrachov to Splinderuv Mlýn (2 ways). It was around 18 km one way but it was definitely worth to do this. It's not impossible and super hard. I strongly recommend you Mumlavsky waterfall and Pancavsky waterfall. You can not see waterfall from that side (it's about Pancavsky) but it's great view where you can take many nice photos.
Have a nice trip.

Gooday, we are travelling by train mostly from uk through to prague with a few stopovers. From prague we wish to go to Wroclaw and would love to visit the waterfall or something with nature.
What mode of public transport can we take to stop at harrachec (a walk from the falls I am told) and is there accommodation nearby? We dont mind a static caravan or b&b we are young 70's😊 thank you
