This is near one of the car parks in Sigulda and it's really quirky. The metal and stone sculptures all look like they're playing instruments and the metal that they are made of of is utensils and other household objects - great idea and definitely...More

Sigulda is unthinkable without its knight's garrison, who are ready to defend the city from any aggressor :)

I loved this sculpture of many people made out of stone and kitchen utensils by a local artist. Unique and quirky!

It was created during the art workshop Viduslaiku dzelzsgriezējs (Medieval Metal Cutter) in 2010. The authors of the parade are six Latvian metal artists.

This was welcoming scene to our visit to Sigulda, not sure exactly what these metal and stone sculptures are supposed to represent but they were skillfully created and gave you a happy feeling as you happened upon them.

This cute little orchestra was the best thing about our visit to Old Sigulda Castle. They were cheerfully standing guard near the car park, no two were alike and they all had little name tags attached. They brought a smile to my face.

So cute, I loved this grouping of army men made from stones and metal. Sad to say that they were the best part of visitng the castle. I would love to have one of my own. They each have names, and are quite comical.
