We did the Riga Old City tour with Mihael and it was a fantastic morning out. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Riga and showed us many hidden gems that we wouldn't have seen if we didn't do a tour. Highly recommended!

We did this tour during the afternoon and loved it! Our guide was so knowledgeable, and it was a different way to see the city. We met at the kayaking shed and pier, it is located at the back of the entrance. The two of us had kayaked before, we had a quick refresher course before we set off. Our... More

Toms was an excellent guide on the Riga free walking tour. The tour stated 1.5 hours but much to our delight it overran as Toms was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable and we got to see many sights we may not have found on our own. Toms was friendly and welcoming and did a great job of remembering where everyone in... More

25e per person and it was well worth it. My husband and daughter went and loved it-it was their favorite experience of our Baltic trip! They said it might be a bit strenuous for someone with a bad shoulder though(like me). Meet at St Peter's and a taxi is provided to the launch site(and back after). Toms was the tour... More

Toms' walking tour helps you orientate yourself when you arrive. You can then decide which parts of the city you would like to return to and explore in more detail. He is very knowledgable about Riga, and provides an interesting blend of information about Riga's historic and contemporary circumstances. He has a warm, funny and enthusiastic approach. The kayaking at... More

We love walking tours, especially if they are informative and if you can understand the guide. We typically pay for guides, as the "free" tours are weak on information and often full of misinformation. This trip, we had some great free tours in Poland, so thought we'd try the "Old Riga Free Tour" with Tom. He was great! He was... More

Our Night Kayak tour was a highlight of our trip to Riga. It was the most amazing way to see the city and gave a different and very interesting perspective. HUGELY RECOMMEND :D The guide was knowledgeable about the city and they also gave us a good quick masterclass in kayaking which meant that it was perfect for those with... More

I participated in Toms daily free tour. It was informative, but not boringly loaded with historic information. You get a good understanding of the city and Latvia, its history and present issues.
