From outside you do not realize how big this museum is. It is a really good place to visit to understand better the history of Riga. Also super well organized, covering all times. I loved the historical clothes and art deco room.

We were the last visitors to the museum on a Saturday afternoon and unfortunately we didn't leave ourselves enough time to view the exhibits sufficiently. The exhibits were very text heavy but we did come away with an overview of Riga's history.
