The museum has a lot of good information, artifacts, and history on the different wars Latvia has been a part of. My issue is with the various staff members who followed me into different exhibits. As a solo, ethnic female, I noticed staff members would...More

Where they have modernised the display it was more interesting, most of it was old fashioned and a bit dull. Will pass the time on a wet day as its free.

An introduction to Latvian history for us. The exhibition, spread over several floors, showed how this country has come through various conflicts.

It's a very interesting museum. Shows the history of the Latvian from war point of view. Most descriptions are in Latvian, so don't expect to read in English or another language. That's an opportunity for the museum.
