Terrific graphics and stories in Latvian, Russian and English. The range and quality of cars is superb, and the story starts with the ancient Egyptians and Romans. Also some really interesting film on screens around the museum (can we have some more seats to stop and watch them please ?). There's a café which we didn't use, but looked good.... More

A must-visit place recently opened after the rennovation. Spectacular cars with a story behind, amusing interactive activities suitable for all ages. Worth your time and money, besides you will get a great Soviet Style photo footage with a retro car to your inbox if you use an in a interactive photobooth.

At first the price for adults seemed a bit a lot, but it is worth every cent. Trully excelent exhibition. Thus I would have liked to get in not only in the bus, but also in one of the oldtimers.

Loved the new renovated museum - amazing collection, beautiful cars. We enjoyed the interactive and historical explanations. The museum is brand new and very modern, we learned a lot during this visit. Would go again. However, note that the entrance fee is 10 euros which is much more than other museums in Riga. For students it is 5 euros.

We were yesterday- nearly opened after renovation. Strongly suggest to come in morning, because at launch time line for tickets was even outside of building. 3 floors with nice, old cars. Do not expect to see something younger than 80th or 90th. Presentation of objects is modern, interesting and even interactive. Very easy to visit all floors even with small... More

Take in mind that Riga Motormuseum is a little bit away from the city center. It would take some 30 min to go by public transport. In Riga Motormuseum You can find different Soviet time cars as well as some Western racing cars. Unfortunately, currently the building is closed for reconstruction... till 2016? Smaller exposition You can see in Bauska,... More

Disappointing that it is shut and that more information about its closure is not out there. As somebody that loved what must be its equivalent in Brussels (except East for West), it was sad to learn so late that it is shut. The taxi man knew, the hotel knew, but the publicity was not adequately honest, but it is a... More
