The Riga river

The main river that flows through the Latvian capital and around which much of the city's history revolves. One of the best ways to admire it is the Daugava Promenade, a route that starts in the historic center of Riga and runs along the river until reaching the Ķengarags district. It allows you to observe the river in all its beauty, but also offers an excellent view of the national library of Latvia. If you want to cross the river, I recommend taking the opportunity to visit the island of Zaķusala (of the hares) on which the famous Riga television tower was built.

Large River

This is the main river through the city. It is very wide and I would not want to drop my valuables in it. Easy to find and near Old Town.
