Santa from Baltic Travel Services was great to work with. She was very responsive leading up to the trip and able to accommodate itinerary changes and tailor the trip based on our budget. We had EXCELLENT tour guides in each location (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia) who were very personable and knowledgeable. Our driver was great and very friendly. The trip was stress free as Baltic Travel Services handled all of the planning and reservations. I cannot speak highly enough of Baltic Travel Services and would 100% recommend their services

My family and I booked a complex 4 country trip across Russia, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia just before the pandemic. The help received from the agents and counsel while putting together the itinerary was exceptional. Since, a pandemic and a war have meant circumstances have changed and we are no longer able to go, but I’ve been so impressed by the customer service excellence they’ve demonstrated since and very grateful for their help. Would highly recommend using Baltic Travel Company and hope to be able to book with them again in the near future.

We visited Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania for 9 days in May, 2022, with private drivers from country to country and private guides in each of the cities visited. The transfers were seamless and the guides, throughout, were outstanding, tailoring the visits to our personal interests. Those interests as well as each of our hotel selections had been previously communicated to Santa Ogrina, the company’s CEO in Riga, when the tour was planned via email. We gained fascinating insights into the past and present realities of these three independent nations in this very reasonably priced private tour.

Baltic Travel Services designed an outstanding itinerary for our private tour that was executed with absolute perfection. Four countries over ten days with zero issues. Ferry transport (we arrived in Tallinn from Helsinki), grand transport, rail, and air were all delivered on schedule and as planned. After every movement, there was someone at the other end to greet and transport us to our hotel. We specifically went with Baltic Travel Services because they offered Poland in addition to the three Baltic States. Poland complicates the tour somewhat as it requires short air and train rides. Poland though is in our opinion a must-visit as we were able to tour Warsaw, Krakow, the fabulous Wieliczka Salt Mines, and Auschwitz. The hotels chosen by Baltic Travel were up-market and well-located. Full breakfasts were included with our rooms. We were also impressed with the local guides Baltic Travel Services had chosen at each stop. They were knowledgeable, energetic, and entertaining. Finally, throughout the trip, we were transported in luxury vans with knowledgeable drivers who were also helpful, and careful.

Baltic Travel Services arranged a wonderful 11-day trip for our extended family of 8 travelers. From my first contact with Santa, she was quick to respond comprehensively to my questions. After she proposed the preliminary itinerary, I was able to add and remove sites/activities liberally. We are the type of travelers who want to see as much as possible and, though she warned us that our days would be very busy, Santa was able to fit everything in. We saw all 6 UNESCO sites, some Holocaust memorials, some Soviet/KGB sites...even an upside down house. Everything was planned very accurately and we were able to see everything as scheduled in our itinerary. The 12-person motor coach Santa arranged for us was comfortable and the driver was always prompt and courteous. We happened to be in Riga during the Song and Dance Festival which occurs every 5 years and were able to attend a couple ticketed events - certainly a highlight of our trip! We also happened to be in Tallinn during the Medieval Days Festival and in Kernave during the Days of Live Archaeology Festival... so much going on during the summer! I highly recommend Baltic Travel Services for tour planning and transportation.

My wife and I just returned from an outstanding cultural tour of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. We had high expectations (I owned a tour company myself for 21 years), but Baltic Travel Services delivered much more than we could have hoped for. They were able to customize the itinerary to our particular interests and, logistically, things operated with incredible efficiency. Juris might just be the best guide I’ve ever had. Meanwhile, Tallinn, Riga, and Vilnius and their environs were full of delights - beautiful architecture, mind-blowing history, tasty cuisine, and engaging people. We will return!

Our usual approach is to self-organise all aspects of our trip (itinerary, hotels, etc). While researching, I noticed a number of travel services listed in the search results for the Baltic states, and one in particular caught my eye ...something about the wording suggested an approach that I might relate to. On a whim, I shot off an email to Baltic Travel Services, and I was surprised by how fast, friendly, and informative the response was. That was the beginning of an extraordinarily wonderful experience, particularly the input and support we received from the founder of the business, Santa Ogrina. The lovely communication we enjoyed at the beginning of our connection with Santa continued right through our planning and into the trip itself. We were advised by Santa in the early stages, with suggestions for an itinerary. Once we committed to the trip, Santa recommended hotels (such fabulous ones!!), made the bookings, organised high-quality guides (with great English language skills), and hired a highly professional driver with an 8-seater van that provided plenty of space for the four of us and our luggage. I made some changes to the itinerary, and Santa did all of that extra work efficiently and without a single word of frustration being expressed. We had three weeks of rich experiences, great accommodation, wonderful food, and (thanks to the experience with the guides) a vibrant connection to the places we travelled through. Santa's attention to detail was extraordinary and she didn't miss a thing or get anything out of whack. Everything was totally spot on. What we had was a highly memorable trip (for all the right reasons) and we are ever so grateful for the input of Baltic Travel Services. It was just a great, great time for us all. Thank you Baltic Travel Services and Santa.

Baltic Travel Services organised a trip for our group: 10 friends all 65+, well-travelled, with academic education, Swiss. We have been more than satisfied with the organisation of our tour. We travelled from Vilnius, via Riga and Tallinn to Helsinki.
Santa booked all the hotels, organised the transportation (coaches), city-guides and the air tickets. Everything worked wonderfully, there was not one misunderstanding on the tour! Santa is a a wonderful person, very professional, she not only organised the tour, she also advised me on what to see and what to leave out on our trip. She is knowledgeble and fair. We set up the price of the trip last year and although the prices have risen this year she has stuck to the agreed price. I have appreciated that very much. This travel agency is alsolutely fantastic, it could not be better!!!

Our family of three enjoyed a 17 day holiday in the Baltic States July 2023. Normally we are independent travelers, however, I wanted to secure drivers and guides for this trip. After researching and reading numerous reviews, I contacted a few agencies. Baltic Travel Services was the shining star. Santa responded quickly and answered all my questions. I loved the agency's flexibility; they were available to do all the planning and booking, or provide what we wanted. We quickly arrived at an itinerary and agreement. Santa was always quick to respond to my many questions, and was most helpful in adding certain sites when wanted. Our drivers were punctual, very helpful, courteous and above all, extremely good drivers. All of our guides were exceptional. Not only knowledgeable and helpful, but anticipating our wants and needs. Words can simply not convey; suffice it to say, they made us feel like family. We learned so much, enjoyed our travel, and left a bit of our hearts in the Baltics. Thank you Santa and thank all of our guides and drivers. Our trip was perfection.

Hi Stormwolf!
Were booking through Baltic - partially on the reviews people like you have left - they do seem very good. Were opting for the five star hotels - through the baltic and Poland. Did you get these?
Also we have a few concerns about paying them,. i would have loved to use my Amex card or at least M/VC but looks like its bank transfer or an Eastern Europe PayPal type service. How did you end up paying them?

We were also concerned about TT money to Eastern Europe but in the end there was not an issue and they were fantastic. Don’t worry. They are completely legit snd offer an awesome service.

Till this year we used to have group tours as well, but with each year we can see that our guests preferring more and more private tours which ensures flexibility for clients and have very good price range and are affordable also even for 1 traveler. If there will be the group tours also for the season 2018, the dates will be published after 15th of October in our website.
