The park is suitable for both: admirers of active and calm recreation. There are children playgrounds for all age groups, road for roller skating and pedestrian roads, cafes, parking lot and toilets in the park. The park is opened all year round. In winter park is an excellent place for distant skiing on a lighted trail. The access is very convenient; there is a parking place for 200 cars at the park. In 2010 a panoramic tower was opened here. The tower is 33, 5 m high and it reveals unforgettable view of Jurmala. The tower has 12 balconies on different levels so everyone can choose the height.

Beautiful park very near to train station, beach and Jonas street. For young kids and toddlers there are two great playgrounds. For older kids and teenagers there is a skate park plus the opportunity to use the high ropes Tarzan facility (charged but good value). For adults lovely to walk round through the pine trees and sit on a bench... More

Our favorite children place we visit many times each month. Not far from Rīga by car, convenient parking there, lots of things to do there. Recently built great tree climbing track (high class security provided). Always fresh air and perfect walking area. Absolutely safe and loved area for our family.

There are a lot of activities in this park for both children and adults. Green area with terrific smell of the forest. Do not miss the tower.

This "wild play" style playground in the trees is fun, well organized, and safe-looking. It is extensive with different levels for all ages. There is a secure looking harness system. This would be a great activity for when it's too hot or it's raining or when the kids are wanting to let loose.

This park is amazing and filled with many attractions- cafes, ice cream carts, playgrounds, and paths big and small. The park is made up primarily of natural forest, which is made up mainly of tall pines and blueberry bushes. The bushes in particular are a hit, as you can eat fresh, wild blueberries while relaxing. The playgrounds are inventive and... More

This park is delightful - meandering pathways making their way through tall trees with play areas will please anyone. The highlight has to be the tower - a climb not for the faint hearted! The top is well above the tree tops - when you reach the top be prepared to feel the tower gently swaying with the wind and... More

Myself and a friend took the train from Riga to Majori (€1.40pp one-way, 30 mins) for Jurmala beach. We walked along the pedestrianised street at Jomas iela to view the shops/restaurants and were led us to Dzintari Forest Park. Pros: -Well-marked wooden decked paths. I saw walkers, roller skaters and cyclists. -Toilets -Cafe - I had a cheese slice, a... More
